On February 21, 1787, the Continental Congress resolved that:

...it is expedient that on the second Monday in May next a Convention of delegates who shall have been appointed by the several States be held at Philladelphia for the sole and express purpose of revising the Articles of Confederation...  The original states, except Rhode Island, collectively appointed 70 individuals to the Constitutional Convention, but a number did not accept or could not attend. Those who did not attend included Richard Henry Lee, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Samuel Adams and, John Hancock. In all, 55 delegates attended the Constitutional Convention sessions, but only 39 actually signed the Constitution. The delegates ranged in age from Jonathan Dayton, aged 26, to Benjamin Franklin, aged 81, who was so infirm that he had to be carried to sessions in a sedan chair.

The U.S. Constitution is the anchor of American government. The great freedoms, rights and protection afforded us in that magnificent document are believed to be sacred and inspired by most Americans. There will always be a threat to such a document by would-be tyrannical leaders. That threat can be overt and we can plainly see it happen or it can be a subtle threat which comes a day at a time. It is always the subtle threat that should concern us most. That will come through gradual special interest, special privilege and special distinctions of class that will challenge the very meaning of the constitution. Our two most cherished privileges, Equal protection of the laws and due process are constantly being re-defined by the perverted ruling class of lawyers comprising the American judicial system from the lowest court to the highest court in the land.

When we examine the American Judicial system closely, we clearly see an evolutional perversion of a dominant special privileged class, eroding away our due process -- supported by greed. This social movement of a privileged class dominates our entire justice system today with their own rules, laws and disciplines even if those rules contradict the due process clause of the U.S. constitution. This dominant culture has laid the unequal and heavy hand of oppression upon the citizenry of this nation -- ursurping the U.S. Constitution.. We are faced with a real conflict between the contemporary lawyer meaning of "equity and justice" and the intent of "due process" under the U.S. Constitution.  Originally the three branches of federal government (Presidental, Supreme Court, and Legislative) kept the balances of power in check, but with the growing surge of lawyer dominance in every aspect of our lives -- like no other unholiness we have seen, America is faced with decline of Godly values exhibited by the intent of our founding fathers.

Consider the the 1997 movie "Devil's Advocate" Based on a book by Andrew Neiderman, the film centers on a young lawyer - Kevin Lomax, a ruthless young Florida attorney that never lost a case, is recruited by the most powerful law firm in the world. In spite of his mother's disagreement, which compares New York City to Babylon, he accepts the offer and the money that comes along. But soon, his wife starts feeling homesick as she witnesses devilish apparitions. However, Kevin is sinking in his new cases and pays less and less attention to his wife. His boss and mentor, John Milton, seems to always know how to overcome every problem and that just freaks Kevin right off. This hotshot lawyer gets more than he bargained for when he learns his new boss is Lucifer himself. Continue
